Change Exadata Passwords

To change all password inside a Exadata is a lot of manual work. So i wrote a small script! You can find it here. The script should run on the first db node and change all password to the one read from the std in.

The following passwords are changed:
db nodes:

root
oracle

cells:

root
celladmin
cellmonitor

infiniband:

root
nm2user
ilom-admin
ilom-operator

pdu:

admin

all iloms:

root
oemuser
MSUser

ASM:

sys
asnsmnp

What is not changed:

the GRUB passwords
all users related to the internal Cisco Switch (we don’t use it).

It also supports both versions of PDUs.

If you are missing a function or something is not working, feel free to contact me 🙂

    1. no only on non virtualized platforms. It should work but don’t cover all passwords furthermore there is no possibility to connect with out a password to the domains.
